Testimonials

  • David Wally - Director of Queen Mary's Dark Harbor

Monica has been a stand-out member of the 'Dark Harbor' cast for the past five years, performing hula hoop for us since 2014. She is a mesmerizing performer and an easygoing cast member and a diligent employee and a lovely person. Her work is so impressive that she was named Outstanding New Monster in 2014 and was then inducted into the 'Dark Harbor' Hall of Fame (our highest honor) after only two years. Monica has also been a leader in the company - She was our first deaf performer and she has gone on to recruit and mentor additional deaf performers. Monica will always be one of those people I eagerly look forward to working with again in the future.

  • Jennifer Ochoa ~ Manager of SIC Transit Entertainment

Hula Bella is that extra element that pulls an entire performance together. STE events wouldn't have been as special without her amazing Hula Hoop skills and the level of entertainment she brings.

  • Marty Villanueva ~ Hula Hoop Student

Monica is an inspiring instructor. She taught me how to flow with hoop! She makes the learning fun and playful.
